Phantom Cuts

The POTUS is now promising to freeze discretionary spending, while leaving the largest programs - Social Security, Medicare, and Defense (How can you include that on the list! You bastard!) - untouched. As the depression continues, and the massive debt multiplies, these "savings" will amount to nothing. And notice that Obama can't bring himself to say "smaller government." Instead, the catchphrase is "smarter government." Translation: we in D.C. know what's good for you, no matter how big and cumbersome we become.
