Without Bush, media lose interest in war caskets | Washington Examiner

In 2009, the Washington Examiner wrote, "Without Bush, media lose interest in war caskets..." How true that is. Raise your hand if you knew that 29 American soldiers lost their lives in Afghanistan and Iraq in April? The press is acting like no one has died in Iraq or Afghanistan under Obama. In their estimation, unicorns have returned to once again graze along the Tigris or in the Hindu-Kush under beautiful rainbows. Please keep in mind what my good friend Joe Pa always tells me, "If you get national security wrong, nothing else matters."

  1. In a sense, I almost feel like I suffer from Survior's guilt having the oppurtunity to enjoy one more day, while these brave men and women have demonstrated unmeasured courage.
