Celebrating 70

This weekend my family and I will be in Arizona to celebrate my dad's 70th birthday. For a gift, I bought him an early release silver dollar coin, which will no doubt increase in value. Like a lot of Americans, my dad still believes in parking his money in a savings accounts and trusts big banks to manage this. I'm hoping that the time I spend this weekend will help to convince him otherwise, so as to preserve his assets from future inflation.
