Hollywood sees them: savage mercanaries with no regard for life. Sorry
Hurt Locker, your portrayal of American soldiers in a tough
environment was just too real. We in the Academy are comfortable with
our illusions and are not going to change that.

I have no idea who's going win. But since Saving Private Ryan lost to
Shakespeare in Love (ARE YOU F'ING KIDDING ME?) I have little hope for
the Hurt Locker.
