Their Seat vs Our Seat

The United States Constitution expressly prohibits the United States government from bestowing titles of royalty on Citizens. Section 9 Clause 8 states, "Clause 8: No Title of Nobility shall be granted by the United States: And no Person holding any Office of Profit or Trust under them, shall, without the Consent of the Congress, accept of any present, Emolument, Office, or Title, of any kind whatever, from any King, Prince, or foreign State." The mere title of Citizen in the American tradition all but implies an incompatability with the concept of noble birth.  But the Kennedy's are called America's Royal Family, they live in Camelot, and their Democratic subjects believe that like the House of Lords in Englad used to be, the open Senate seat belongs to the Democratic Royal Family by right of birth. Scott Brown has done a good job of reminding all Americans in this election that they are Citizens and not subjects to be lorded over by politcal fiefdoms. I hope the people pay attention and give him a shot a "representing" them as opposed to "ruling" over them.

If the Democratic Royal Family's slogan is, "Do it for Teddy!" then I'd like to add my two cents..........

Do it for Mary Jo!

She would have been 69 today today, but her "True Compass" was forced in another direction
