I've been wanting to write more about government and health issues on this blog, but for now, let me just say that I have no love for drug companies with their annoying ads, constant lobbying, and virtual takeover of modern day medicine. This is corporate socialism at its worst, with these companies going virtually unchecked by the FDA.
While the doctors willingly write a prescription, they seem to have forgotten how far dietary changes and vitamin supplementation can make a difference. Then again, as I've witnessed, few of them know anything on this subject. As for the drugs themselves, most, if not all, merely treat the symptoms of the disease, not the cause.
Stay tuned, ladies and gentlemen, where we'll soon have a wonder drug for this and another vaccine for that. You want to be healthy? Then think for yourself and don't leave your health to corporations and government medical bureaucrats.

Is there a pill or prescription I can ask my doctor for that will help me think for myself? This all seems so complicated. Now, where did I put my valium and Lithium cocktail?
